Instructions for Using and Maintaining an Aranmula Kannadi

Keep mirror away from heat and dust, under room temperature
Do not touch reflective surfaces with your fingers
Clean off fingerprints with moisture immediately to prevent corrosion
Sprinkle Red Oxide Powder, Blue, or Talcum Powder on the mirror, and hold in a slant position to let dust and particles roll-off
Use cotton wool, and rub the surface softly and smoothly in a vertical direction
In case of fungus, use a few drops of edible oil, rub for one or two minutes, then clean as mentioned above
Repeat the red-oxide cleaning process 5 times or until the original reflection is achieved, do not use any other matte polish on the mirror
Use metal polish (only on the frame) on the frame.
