Instructions for Using and Maintaining an Aranmula Kannadi
- Keep mirror away from heat and dust, under room temperature
- Do not touch reflective surfaces with your fingers
- Clean off fingerprints with moisture immediately to prevent corrosion
- Sprinkle Red Oxide Powder, Blue, or Talcum Powder on the mirror, and hold in a slant position to let dust and particles roll-off
- Use cotton wool, and rub the surface softly and smoothly in a vertical direction
- In case of fungus, use a few drops of edible oil, rub for one or two minutes, then clean as mentioned above
- Repeat the red-oxide cleaning process 5 times or until the original reflection is achieved, do not use any other matte polish on the mirror
- Use metal polish (only on the frame) on the frame.
